Appraisals

Greg Lane has been in the art business for 35 years and is fully qualified to provide written appraisals on artists displayed on and off this website. An appraisal is the written opinion of an expert based upon known facts including published price lists, auction records, and personal experience acquired from dealing in the art business for many years. An online appraisal is a convenience that can be acquired from your own home and anywhere that you have access to a computer. You will not have to bear the inconvenience of transporting your artwork and also risk the chances of breakage and or damage of your artwork in the process. You may supply us with your images via e-mail or postal mail.

Certificates of Authenticity

Certificates of authenticity are usually created by either the artist themselves, the publisher, agent, or art dealer/gallery who represents the artist. If you require your artwork to be authenticated please inquire for our certification services.

Buy and Trade

Greg Lane Fine Arts buys specialized works of art for inventory. If we are not interested in your artwork at the time you inquire we will automatically enter your artwork at no charge into our extensive database as a source for future sales. Our company, unlike most dealers, purchases art for inventory. If we are not interested in purchasing your artwork at the time you inquire we would possibly trade your art with comparably valued artwork from our inventory.
