David Mechanica is a modern interpretation of Michelangelo’s David, a well-loved biblical tale about a young shepherd who defeated a vicious warrior despite being underestimated by everyone.
The moving gears in this piece represent David’s thought process. It is also a salute to victories won by self-confidence, concentration, and cleverness.
