GREG LANE FINE ARTS
Bill Mack

Individuals who are in the market for a truly unique sculpture would be wise to consider the work of Bill Mack. Highly regarded as one of the worlds's most naturally gifted artists, Bill Mack's work is celebrated on nearly every continent. A national treasure whose work is exceptionally moving, Bill Mack gives to sculpture what Vivaldi gave to music.

Despite his contemporary artistic celebrity, Bill Mack received almost no formal training. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Mack dabbled in oil painting as a youngster and made extra money in high school by selling his work. He did not recognize his true talents as a sculptor, however, until he was 17 years old.

At that time, Mack was working as a designer for a company that specialized in bronze relief tablets. When a colleague's attempts to produce a relief memorial fell short, Mack gave the project a shot and was both surprised and pleased with the results. Subsequently, he quit his job a short time later and began working exclusively as a freelance relief sculptor.

Today, Bill Mack continues to create one-of-a-kind sculptures, many of which adorn the collections prized by some of the world's most avid collectors (including Presidents Clinton, Reagan and Ford). Here at Greg Lane Fine Arts, we are huge fans of Bill Mack sculptures and are pleased to offer a comprehensive collection of his work.
