Born in Italy on November 8, 1939, Pino was instantly drawn to the canvas. His education at Milan's famed Academy of Brera certainly advanced his skills, but did not establish them. After spending several years in Italy working as a successful illustrator, Pino decided to move to the United States. It was there Pino thought he would experience greater artistic success and freedom. He was right.

In America's, Pino's sensual paintings were an instant hit among Romance novel publishers. He started working almost immediately and never stopped. To date, Pino's creations have graced the covers of more than 3,000 texts. His remarkable success as an illustrator, however, did not cause Pino to abandon the canvas.
